GoLive Freehand, Adobe will halt them

I don't work with GoLive, but I was trying to learn Freehand, Is this the better way to do vector design? or maybe go to Illustrator instead.

both software are best use for vector i think the only difference could be the way they compress their files and still appear that clear and crisp even zoomed in a thousand zoom ins.

wich one do you prefer? and what kind of work do you do? Web Design is far different from printing design. or You are a Web coder like me?
