I don't agree with secure dot-net. In my opinion, the best and most secure web browser is Mozilla Firefox. I have done som research.
I put viruses, trojans and phishing sites on my website. Opera didn't care, but Firefox warned me several times.

mozilla and firefox is my choice as well, it has auto proxy and if your isp has it, it will automatically use it, i know because i can't enter some forums whose backend is vb. opera 9 when presented with this like a popup it sill freezes and boots your computer.

I'm not really sure about which is the most secure.. but I'm prety sure that IE7 is the mos unsecure.. lol..
Anyways, Opera is not used all too much so I guess not too many people will be making hax and exploits for it, whilst FF is the webs leading browser for now... and more people will try to look for security holes in it..
Simply just like phpBB, got too famous, too many people used it, too many people tried to hack phpBB forums, and that's what happened... now phpBB is somewhere in the bottom when it comes to security...
my 2 cents

I've never really used Opera, but from what I've heard and used, I say either Firefox or IE (Don't yell at me for using it :S).
