Dreamweaver - 02-13-2006, 11:20 PM

I have just deleted this from my hard drive. it was a seriously huge file just sitting there. I downloaded it for use on a project that ultimately we never used it for. The client wasn't even comfortable using it. Anybody else out there gives Dreamweaver the boot?

I never used it. The client didn't want it. It was taking up too much room. I know it's available whenever I want it back. But I have a funny feeling that will be never!

You can't beat Dreamweaver when it comes to web editing. Except the site manager is a bit dodgy. Dreamwever is really powerful

What do you mean "the client didn't want it". If you have your own computer, can't you put on it whatever you want. And with today's hard drives, space shouldn't really be an issue.

Unless he has like an old computer that has barely 20gig. Then that may be a big problem.

Anyways I have an 80gig harddrive + I bought a 320gig external harddrive so I'm all set for a little while

I have to say that I have been using dreamweaver for many years and up until now I have utliised all of its features and found that it is the most powerful web editing tool available (in my years of experience) . However, recently, the site manager has become increasingly more frustrating to use and it doesn't work!! I'm fed up with the site manager (and database feature of dmwvr)!

Re: Dreamweaver - 03-01-2006, 04:52 AM

ive used dreamweaver, for ever. i use it to help others and ive NEVER had any problems and its so easy to use. i can make websites far easier than using some stupid other software, like frontpage.
i know people that use frontpage, but if they would use dreamweaver, they would be amazed.
yes dreamweaver costs money, yes its worth it!
