If you type a word after notepad in the command prompt or a batch file, it will try to create or open a *.txt file of that name (in this case, the name is word).

that was cool a very cool tutorial man i use NP alot

Same here, just now I use WordPad more, because NotePad messes up alot of the formatting in .txt files.
