How To Upgrade Your PHP?

You can upgrade your current PHP version in WHM.

Login WHM and scroll down to the Software area and choose the Apache Update
option.

Once your in the Apache Build/Upgrade screen choose the Load Previous Config
button then under the PHP Module choose "Version 5.0.4" and check any
other modules you want included.

Click on Start Build and wait for it to finish and you will have PHP Version 5.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but what is WHM?
I've never thought it possible to upgrade PHP by myself. Haha... ^__^;;

WHM stands for WebHost Manager. If you provide hosting or need to control your server and accounts then this comes in handy. Its used for server administration.

yes everything is possible some dedicated servers i know will just come to you with no os, and no apache you install everything from the ground up. you are even responsible for all updates/patches/re-installs of new software.

WHM access usually avialable for reseller hosting. the new php 5 is very good! But where do I get php 5?
