[/SIZE] [SIZE=2]In this Flash Text tutorial you will learn how to create a mask text effect similar to what you the sample below.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2]Step1:
First we will add some text and set the properties of the text.
To do this click on the Text Tool in the Tools bar.
Then left click on your mouse in the work area where you want to put the text.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2] [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]Step2:
To set the properties Right Click in the Text field, a small popup menu will appear. Now Select Properties.
The Properties window will appear below the work area. For our Fade effect set the font to Arial and the size to 30, and select any color except white.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2] [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]Step3:
Now we will be creating the Flash Text fade in effect. To do this go to the timeline and right click on frame 60. A small popup menu will appear. From this popup menu select insert keyframe. After you have done this right click on the keyframe again and select create motion tween. Now go to the first key frame, again right mouse click on it, and select create motion tween.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2] [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]Step4:
Now we have arrived at the final step to create the basic flash text movement. To finalize it all we need to do is to move the text in the first key frame to the left and the text in the second keyframe to the right. To do this click in the first keyframe, as you will see the text in the working ara is automatically selected as well. To move the text to the left press about 20 times on the left arrow on your keyboard. Now do the same with the text in the second keyframe[/SIZE] [SIZE=2] [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]Step5:
To preview what we have created. Enter Ctrl Key and the Enter Key on your keyboard. Your animation should look like something such as the Flash Text Movement Animation below.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2] [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]Step6:
Now will are going to add a Mask on top of the animated text. To do this to back to the left side of the time line right click on layer1 and select insert layer. Now you have created a layer above the animated text and this is where we are going to put the mask.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2] [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]Step7:
Click in the first frame of the new empty layer. After this layer has been activated go to the work area and draw a small circle on top of the text.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2]Step8:
No go back to the timeline and rightclik on the layer 2. Select mask from the drop down menu. That's it you are done![/SIZE] [SIZE=2] [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]Step9:
