Review my Anime site

Hello,

Well my site is http://animehomenetwork.com

I am using a Joomla CMS, so there isn't much to review regarding coding.

But I just want a general review on how the layout looks, how easy (or not) it is to navigate. What are neccessary and useless things are there.

Also, there are few templates avaliable to try, could you tell me which one you think suits the site more?

Constructive criticism is appreciated, but please bash me and my site

practical and useful, layout no problem, i rate 9/10
may be more left and right margin space for the bottom works links .

Hmm ... right panel has to low width in FireFox, You don't have enaught margin-top for text in content section (text is on "search" orange space), now there is only little content ...
Layout is a template downloaded from somewhere i think ... and it doesn;t fit to this page ... find a MANGA/ANIME layout or make it yourself ...

8/10 interface is nice, you could have used a more colorful background though!

I recieved almost identical review on Joomla Site Showcase.

Indeed, there are template width problem in firefox. I think I will play with template's CSS for a little and see if I can change that. (Because in Opera browser all margins actually stretch fine)

Another problem of mine is that I use screen resolution above 1020x768 and sometimes end up making things that are misaligned on other resolutions.

Regarding getting an anime/manga template or making my own..

Hmm.. Making my own takes too much, though I could give it a try. And I couldn't find a premade template.
One thing I might do is get a really light and clean template and then alter it's CSS so it has anime picture all over.

But I personally prefer the serious style more. But that's just me.

You can make serious stle only with Anime subtle accents - find clean nice template and just re-code it ... change top etc

Oh wow matey! thats so beautiful.i want to ask you from where u got the template?and second how u made the toolbar?i too want to make a one of mine.is it of conduit?and,now back to the main topic, the layout is great and i think more will be added in the site.i rate it 8/10.

Template is called Carbonation and it is by RocketThemes

Toolbar is by Conduit - yes.

xD I love how you kept saying great but ended up with 8/10
