you have a very dark background a lighter one will make your site more sobber
also your forum theme and main site theme are altogether different better to have same uniform theme all over your site
and you need to add some tutorials, there is only on on your website
refer to other tutorial sites and you can add a few from there (keeping the information about author intact) if those sites allow you to copy

nice site.. and i agree, make it lighter will look better!
and yeh, work on the themes..

Its down for me too..

Sorry about the website being off line it should be back up now. The reason it went down was because I typed the wrong command into my VPS and stuffed it up but it's working fine now!

Now it is online. I reckon you will need a better site layout,
